Husband and I are not in a “normal” situation.

My parents own a 200 acre horse boarding farm. The plan is for my husband and I to eventually buy it.

That being said, at this point, we live with my parents and work the farm. Husband and I both have side jobs but working the farm allows us to live rent free so it’s nice. We are limited space but we have a place to live and worry about other bills and just saving money.

My mom has been going through menopause and just had a hysterectomy... needless to say, it’s been mentally and emotionally frustrating for us all. Mom having her issues, me in trimester one.

She’s told us all how awful she feels.., she couldn’t get really excited about the wedding and it’s been hard for her to be excited about her first grandchild. But she’s said she has trouble enjoying anything right now and she’s working on it.

Well I balled my eyes out this morning, she came to the barn while we were cleaning stalls and gave me and my husband this adorable little gift and she was so happy!
