Right forum?

Not sure if this is the right forum but I’ve been pregnant twice. Both times I was on birth control. I was 17/19 and wasn’t too crazy about the whole ovulation and details. I was under the impression if it happened it happened. My second pregnancy was a miscarriage. I have a beautiful 8 year old girl.

My question: how accurate is the ovulation window? And if you miss that window why does it say you’re 3% likely to get pregnant. My periods are spot on and after getting pregnant twice on BC I feel like the whole science to trying to get pregnant is still a mystery.
