I’m a teacher as well but shouldn’t that be a parents job?

I'm not a teacher but I assist in creating the programing for the preschool programs at my daycare (I'm the president of the board)
What we do it very basic. We talk at little  bit about what babies are. We ask the kids if any of them have little siblings and see if they want to tell us about them. Then we take out the toys, baby dolls with little toy diapers, little cradles, ect. 
If we have an overly curious child asking about where babies come from we are honest, but not descriptive. We say that when two parents are ready they decide to have a baby. And that it's a very important decision to be made between adults. 
You can talk about how some babies are adopted, and some grow in the children's mothers belly. 
A great activity if you have the option is to actually talk about baby animals too. How puppies and kittens grow in the mommy, but birds grow in an egg. 
There are also great picture books about babies, and a Little Critters book about a new baby.

I teach kinder and I wouldn’t have a lesson about babies..
Like the other comment that’s the parents right to do so because everyone has a time/place to talk about babies and different opinions. I’m pregnant and only told the kids that I’m pregnant and they’re so little they just asked boy or girl and how big the baby will get in my tummy and I told them boy and demonstrated how big I think he will get  And then we moved on
