At how many weeks did you announce?

I had my 10 week appt and my dr said I should he good to announce but I'm still nervous.

I haven’t even called the doctor yet...😂 I will later this week but I plan on announcing to family as late as possible like at 14 weeks because last time I announced early and my mother wouldn’t give me a break about wanting to tell everyone. I know she’ll be excited but once she knows....yeah 
Plus I have the awkward circumstance in that my sister is REALLY TTC so far unsuccessfully and I need to break it to her somehow gently. Poor thing. I live her so much I wish she could have this joy. 
So yeah. You do you! Everyone is different with what they are comfortable with. You tell people as early or late as you want.

We told all of our families at 9 weeks and have an appointment at 11w4d so we’ll do a big public announcement after that

My parents found out the day I found out and I wanted to wait to announce it until I hit the second trimester but I announced it at 9 weeks. I’m 10 weeks today (:

It depends on you and your SO and how you feel. We had a miscarriage before this pregnancy so we are nervous to announce but my gynae said to me that if your family and friends will support you and be there for you in hospital should something go wrong then we can tell them! 
We told parents and siblings (and best friend) at 7weeks (I think it was) and then we are waiting till 13weeks to tell everyone else because that's our next scan 😁

Yep when I was 10 weeks in my last pregnancy my doctor said it was safe to announce on social media. I'm 8 weeks now but I'll have an appt when I'm 11 weeks so we'll announce online after that. But we told our entire family when I was 3-4 weeks along.

I told my parents at 6 weeks after the first US and I told our extended family, his parents and our closest friends at 8 weeks. Honestly I know what can go wrong but I don’t want those fears to overshadow the happiness and I’m being a pillar of positivity. I will make a Facebook announcement at 12 weeks.

We’re telling family on vacation next week, we’ll be 12 weeks and going to take our announcement photos with our fur babies on the beach to share on social media. We’ve been trying for 4 years and went through ivf treatments so I know we’ll get a lot of the “it’s about time” and “finally” comments so I’m adding with the announcement the road we’ve taken to get here.

I just had my 8 week scan, and I put a card in the mail to each of my parents yesterday with a little announcement and a scan photo.  I’ll wait a week and then send the same to each of my brothers, will take about a week to get to them, so will be 10 weeks by then.  I just can’t wait.  My other two pregnancies were non existent (ectopic ended medically at 7.5 weeks, and miscarriage at 5.5 weeks) by this stage, and this one seems super strong.  So I only have vague qualms about announcing to my family now.  I did consider waiting until the point at which my 3 brothers first told us: so 7 weeks, 4 months, 5 months, but I thought that seems too mean, and how on earth do you keep that secret until five months from one brother, especially when the rest of the family knows.

I told my parents the same week I found out. Then we told my husbands parents and my two step sons after our first ultrasound at 7 weeks because we had miscarried in May and wanted to wait a little bit. I plan to tell work this week (11weeks) and we will announce it on social media next week (12 weeks) after I have another ultrasound.

I did after my 12 week scan with my son and I will be  doing the same with this baby on September 9th after my scan at 12 weeks 2 days  :)
