CAn you be pregnant but still get surge on ovulation test?

I had a faint surge on ovu test this am but I have been exhausted and nauseous all day. It's 7pm and I'm already in bed! Possible I may be pregnant or just getting sick..?

I am the exact same way. Had a slight surge this am and now I'm nauseous and exhausted. Uhg.... Too early to test.

This is a great topic. I took an opk at 5dpo just for fun and to my surprise it was very positive, the test line was much darker than control line but I'm positive that I ovulated 5-6 days prior so I'm wondering if it's detecting pregnancy hormone sooner than HPT? It's still too early for me to test so I don't know?

some opks can pick up both lh and hcg, but as LH is present in your body at other times of your cycle then then you can't tell. Setting yourself up for disappointment! 
Also I'm not sure you can have a "faint" surge - a surge is only when the test line is darker than the control.
