Flapping one arm?

Is anyone elses LO flapping/waving one arm? Mine just started this yesterday and stupid me googled it so now I'm freaking out. He will just throw one arm up and down while chatting basically. Please tell me this is a development thing! He's also teething super hard right now

My daughter does this while nursing. She takes her free arm and hits me in the boob/chest several times in a row. It's very odd. Freaks me out too. You are not alone momma. I'm sure it's just our LOs way of exploring their limbs

My daughter keeps slowly kicking one leg out and then in again. I decided to forgo the googling since I’m sure it’ll just give me anxiety 🙄

Yes!!!! Google scared me too but the more I researched I found its developmental and that’s why babies love rattles.. they usually start with one hand then the other

Mine just started yesterday!! I bought her a rattle today to give that arm something to interact with and she’s OBSESSED lol. I think it’s developmental.

Yes mine is always flapping his right arm. Rarely his left.??

Yes. He did it while eating and it freaked me out but it only happened for like 2 days. I think hes exploring arm movements

Yup! My guy flaps both arms when he's excited and kicks both of his legs a lot. He also grabs one foot with one hand and scratches his leg with the other hand when I change his diaper lol

Mine does this. Also hits his leg a lot. And is also teething, not sure if it's related though.
