Ok so here is a lil back story:(my mom told me this story)

My mom and my dad have never been married but right now since they are separated they are in a sort of divorced and have been ever since my lil brother was born

When the got together my dad had another woman before my mom. When my dad was gonna leave her, the woman kinda latched onto him by saying the she was pregnant and that they had to be together(it was true) and my half-blood twin brothers were born and a year after I was born

My dad wanted to be with my mom but the other woman wouldn’t let him. He told my mom that when the twins were five things were gonna changed but that wasn’t true.

Fast forward to today I live with my stepdad, mom, 1 sister, 2 stepbrothers, 1 full brother and 1 half brother. I haven’t seen my dad in like 6 years because he has lived with his other family my whole live and he only calls when he sends our allowance. He practically is a stranger to me but I love him a lot

My mom told me that my brothers on my dad side don’t know anything about us but their mother does and she doesn’t want them to know. With addition to that my dad has made no effort to tell them about us. On the other I’ve always known the exist

Recently I’ve been wanting to get in contact with them and meet them and get to know them like siblings. I tried talking to my dad about it and he said ‘ok I’ll tell them everything and I’ll let you know when it’s ok’ but that never happened and will never happen for obvious reasons

I have both of them on Facebook and can txt them anytime I want but I’m scared and idk what to do

Should I get in contact with them behind my dads back and accept the consequences if he gets mad or should I just leave all of this behind me and forget about it??

What would you guys do in my situation?
