What would you recommend?

for the Fenty Beauty fans, I have combination skin and have been using Fenty’s matte foundation and I love it expect how my skin looks so dry after a few hours (which isn’t bc of the foundation my skin does that with any foundation) and I wanna try the new hydrating foundation but I know it will look greasy on me with time as well. So I thought of this; what if I used one of the hydrating products with one of the original ones. So let’s refer to the original products as 1 and the new hydrating ones as 2. So; normal primer with hydrating foundation or hydrating primer with matte foundation?

I’m asking bc I can’t just buy all the products then try I’m trying to save up and also free samples aren’t always available :)
