Opinions on young marriage?

I am 19 and my fiancé is 23, I just wanted to know some opinions or advice on a young marriage!

It definitely works for some people, sure. I just know that I have completely changed and grown as a person since I was 19. I would never, today, marry the person I was with at 19.

Im in my 30s and all my friends who got married young have got divorced apart from one couple... basically they all felt like they rushed into things and also missed on life experiences that other friends had done whilst being single and not “tied down” to a relationship.

Depends on you and your husband, your foundation, maturity, ability to communicate, and what you want out of life. I’d suggest waiting until you’re at least 21 to get married and are absolutely sure that’s what you want. I changed drastically from the time I was 18 to 22.  Give yourself some time to grow up.

I got married at 19 and found out I was pregnant the same month I got married and it all happened so fast things got rocky and I almost didn’t think we were ganna make it but we’ve been married a year with a 5 month old and another on the way

When you know, you know. Outsiders likely have far less insight on your relationship than you do yourself. Just by asking this, it proves you’ve likely taken a step back and reflected in your decisions. Only you know if you can communicate well, grow together, and handle all of life’s burdens with one another. There are a lot of complications to a marriage. If you truly know your partner, and know what you want for yourself, and these wishes/goals align, who’s to say a marriage isn’t feasible? You’re the only one who can truly make this decision. You’re the only one who can know you’re ready for this partnership. Contemplate and pray and you’ll be able to distinguish the insecurity and doubt apart from reality.
