can someone explains to me what happens at your 6 week postpartum check up?

Checked my incision and asked how I was doing and than put my birth control in.

Mine literally just asked me how I was feeling, making sure I didn’t have ppd, and birth control options and that was it lol. I guess he was confident in his work and didn’t need to check anything if I wasn’t complaining lol. Which he was right because I was perfectly fine, he did a great job. I’m not sure if other obgyns check though.

Did a Pap smear and looked inside me. Prescribed birth control. Felt my abs and uterus area. Asked about PPD.
