Changing Due Date?

My OB doesn’t want to move my due date even though another doctor thinks he should. LO is in 93% measuring nearly 3 weeks ahead (ultrasound measurements), estimated weight at 6lb8oz and my fundal night is 39cm even though I’m supposed to be around 34. He just wants me to have another growth scan done in 2-3 weeks. I’m currently 34&5 but the other OB thinks closer to 37. Anyone else in a similar situation?

I measured 3 weeks ahead at that point in my first pregnancy (from 30w on actually.)
They told me he would come weeks early and be 10-11LBS+.
He came on his literal due date at 8lbs.
Unfortunately, the further along you are, the less accurate growth scans are and shouldn't be used to determine the size of baby nor whether to induce early.
They won't change your due date, because babies gestational age still determines whether the lungs and other organs are at full maturity and ready to be born, not the size your baby is measuring.

Same! I’m measuring 3 weeks ahead too and they just keep doing ultrasound every two weeks. They won’t change dates or anything but are starting to get concerned saying she is measuring bigger than expected. They said Ill probably have to be induced at 38-39 weeks which by then she could be 9lbs but I’ve heard a lot of times the weight is usually wrong during ultrasounds and that’s why they usually don’t do t this late in pregnancy unless necessary.

Yes, me! Baby is measuring 3-3.5 weeks ahead. I know my OBs dates are off by at least a few days because my first ultrasound was at 7 weeks and that’s the most accurate for dating.

I’m measuring about 4 weeks ahead. I also have GD as well. At my last ultrasound they said well he’s just a big boy, thighs, arms, head are all well proportioned and in the 95% or above. They arent worried, and won’t change anything. They are more concerned that his lungs are maturing. He’s is at 8 pounds too but they say it can be off by plus or minus 2 pounds.

My baby they say is off the charts. My last ultrasound at 32 weeks she was 5lbs 15oz measuring at 37 weeks no GD just excess fluid im getting weekly NSTs

I’ve been measuring ahead too and my doctor won’t change it. Baby is in the 98% and has been since about 19 weeks. He was 5lbs 6ozs at 31 weeks. I’m measuring 5 weeks ahead. No gestational diabetes either. Doctor just said he’s a big boy and I’ll be induced between 38-39 weeks if nothing else comes up 🤷🏻‍♀️
