Tip: how to get newborn to stop crying

My firstborn had colic and reflux and would cry and scream for hours at a time. I would get so frustrated bc all that crying gets to you and I felt guilty watching her like that and didn’t know what to do. I stumbled upon this video when she was about a year old and saved it so I wouldn’t forget in case I had another child. Well I had my second about a month ago and she has reflux too. She also refuses to settle down in the evening hours even though she has fed well. At about a week old I remembered this video and it has been a godsend. Within seconds of holding her like this she stops crying. Just wish I had found it sooner so I could use on my oldest.
