To induce or not??? I came for a check up at 40+5 and asked about it and they said we can do it today!

So it is a very spontaneous thing, no preparation, but I want to meet my baby already and think it's a good idea, but I'm debating if I should wait a little more for the babe to come naturally  or just go for it, what would you do?

I had this option as well. Went in for an ultrasound to check fluid and a non stress test and everything looked perfect so now waiting it out until appointment on Monday

I was induced with pitocin... and wish I could have waited. Pitocin made contractions unbearable very early, and caused a lot of complications for me (4 hrs of pushing, forceps, episiotomy, fever, near c sections, and I required pelvic floor physical therapy due to incontinence and pain).

Is it a pitocin induction or are they going to try other methods first? Are you dilated or effaced at all?
