Everyone’s healing process is different and certain products can help or cause issues for everyone. I personally love h2ocean spray. I’ve used it on my helix and nose and have had no issues with infection or dryness. H2ocean actually reversed an infection on my helix. I did however still develop hypertrophic scarring on my helix because I can stop sleeping on it, but it wasn’t big at all especially considering how much I would sleep on it. I’m not sure what you have. Maybe it’s an irritation bump. My piercer recommended diluted tea tree oil for my bump and it immediately took the pain and tenderness away and lowered the bump 2 days after use. I would talk to your piercer though just to make sure.
