Blue dye better than FRER?

So I was always in the blue dye is shady camp and never normally bought them. Yesterday I bought a pack because that’s all they had and got some pretty obvious lines but of course I was afraid to trust it because - blue dye.

So I rushed back out to get an FRER. STARK WHITE NEGATIVE. Maybe the faintest shadow ever. This morning, faintest shadow ever. Thought it was negative.

Wanted a glass of wine tonight, took my last test and look what popped up finally. So I’m definitely rethinking my opinion of blue dye tests that were able to give me a positive a day and a half before an FRER. Food for thought.
