for a while now i have been thinking about doing a student exchange program to america. i currently live in australia and have been looking at going to america for a year. i really don’t know what to do as i’m basically trying to decide off a pros and cons list. so hopefully someone on here can help me out a lil. at the moment i’m in year 9 so that will put me in sophomore when i get there if i go the dates i’m looking at. so it would be a dream come tru to experience an american high school. especially being able to study the american law system (because i am very interested in it as is ) and join a school sporting team. tho having to find a new outfit everyday is gonna be stressful hahah. also outside of school activities in american seem so fun especially in summer. plus in winter i will get to experience snow. i also would look forward to making so many new best friends and creating another family on the other side of the world. and lastly it’s kind of a once in a life time experience. though on the other hand. i would miss all of year ten in australia. meaning missing lots of already planned school activities and leaving my current friends and family. and though my mum says she wants me to go money would be a problem as we would have to get a bit of a loan to be able to do it and my mum continually says she is okay with that i just don’t know. lastly i am meant to be getting a puppy for my birthday this year. a little miniature daschund. and that sounds silly but i have been waiting so long. but if i went on the exchange program i would only get to spend a few months with it and then i would go away for a year. so i really don’t know. someone help a girl out
