Depo injection & trying to conceive

Looking for advice. I was on the depo injection for 4 years. Periods returned but were irregular then evened themselves out for around 4 months & are now back to being irregular. I am trying to conceive but finding it hard due to irregular cycle etc. Been off the depo for a year & 8 months but no luck. I know it can take a year to 2 years to conceive after being on the depo. I have the nurse in a few weeks so hopefully she’ll be able to help! Has this happened to anyone else who has came off depo? Thanks
