piercing is infected, how do I fix it?

I’ve had my ears pierced for years but it’s never been infected this badly before. I can’t sleep on my right side cause it hurts to even touch it. I read somewhere not to take the jewelry out and to just clean around it, but that’s kinda hard to do with my earring (pictured below). how can I fix it? should I soak it in salt water or alcohol? if i bought the sea salt spray that people use would that work? thanks
