Help and advice wanted !!!!

So this was my first month TTC with my husband I started testing at 8dpo and all of them were BFN without a doubt. Sunday came I didn’t test but that night I ended up in the hospital With heart arrhythmia and kept for observation until Monday afternoon. Of course they did their own pregnancy test which was negative, I was expecting to get my period Tuesday which I had the cramps and noticed spotting early in the day so I figure it came on time.. it’s now Thursday and I still have light pink brown spotting. I do not think I’m pregnant but has anyone spotted for this long before actually getting their period? This is unusual for me .. it’s not enough for a tampon or even a liner really, I only see it when I wipe.. thoughts...? 👀🤷🏼‍♀️🙈
