37+5 with first baby

So I had a scan last week at 36 +4 baby was measuring at 7lb1 doctors all happy baby is measuring right where she should be. Fab! But the last 2 days apart from being pretty cumbersome with a big old weight on my front I've noticed that most of the time my bump is really hard to the touch. I've been told possibly Braxton hicks by the mums I know but I have no sensation from any tightening whatsoever and I've had a couple of hicks scattered across the last few weeks that I have felt.

So im not sure if what I'm feeling is normal or if I should be contacting my midwife? Any advice would be massively appreciated!
