What do your baby names mean?

My daughter is named Melody which is Greek for song and Chanel which is French for canal or dweller near a canal (that’s what I read). Well together it’s song near the canal which I think is sooo cool. Any one else want to share your baby names and what they mean. It could literally be what they mean to you or the actual meaning of the name 💖

My daughter’s name is Ivy. 
We adopted our daughter from an orphanage in Eastern Europe as an emergency special needs adoption (she was sick and dying). We had a long list of names but when asked what we wanted to name her as she was just “Girl” on her birth certificate, we turned to one another and said “Ivy,” a name that wasn’t on our list at all. We felt surprised but it seemed to fit her. 
Later that day, we met up with another adoptive family in Eastern Europe and they had their 8-year old bio son with them who was severely autistic and generally nonverbal. When we told them the story, he said, “Ivy is the perfect name for her. Ivy, the plant, can grow in the sun or in the shade as if God just speaks life into it. Ivy, your daughter, will grow strong in body and spirit. Ivy means perseverance and determination.” His mom broke down and cried (and we did too), and she explained that it was the most he had ever spoken and she had never heard him speak so articulately. 
And from there, Ivy was the perfect fit for her. She did, indeed, grow strong in body and spirit and has proved all her doctors wrong. 💕

Noelle is our daughter's name. It literally means "born on Christmas day", which she was not, as she was born in May. 😂 But it was the only name my husband and I agreed on, and I think it's a beautiful name.

My first son is named Tristan after my SO and my FIL. His middle name is Daniel, after my younger sister Danielle who passed away when she was 10 months and I was 2. Tristan means; noise, or sad. 
My second son is named Silas, meaning “of the forest” his middle name is Damean after my BIL. 
My third sons name is Jack, meaning; god is gracious. While I’m not religious this name first him perfectly. I felt so lucky to have him and for him to be so happy and healthy after losing 1 baby to anencephaly and 1 to miscarriage. His middle name is Oliver after my grandmother Olive and my niece Olivia.
