it matters what time of day your milk is from?
So I just saw an article that was really interesting. Apparently breast milk from night time contains melatonin, and milk from morning/daytime contains cortisol. So if you feed baby morning milk in the middle of the night it may keep them up. There was something about babies with pumped milk from random times taking longer to learn to sleep through the night.
It said they were going to be studying it further and recommended labeling day and night milk.
Has anyone experienced anything like this??
It’s something I may try to keep in mind.
