I just masturbate by pressing up and down near the clitoris hood (weird i know but thats the only way i know), I’ve tried to insert a finger but it hurts quite a bit and if I do it again, I don’t feel any pleasure at all. I also tried rubbing what I think, is my clit but it feels uncomfortable. 
How do I make it painless and why don’t I feel anything pleasureful?

everyone is different, you just have to explore what you like. a lot of people experience orgasms from just clitoral stimulation alone. when i masturbate i don’t like to finger myself because it doesn’t feel good to me, but when someone else does it i like it. i don’t rub directly on my clit because it can feel overwhelming so i normally just rub outside the lips because that’s what i like. everyone is different and this seems completely normal but if you have any concerns it doesn’t hurt to see a doctor. also i would recommend getting i front of a mirror and finding your clit. look up a diagram if it helps!
