I was talking to my friends on Instagram and she thinks she’s a bad artist help me prove her wrong! I think she’s good! Be honest tho!

I mean I'm not sure how old you guys are, but I'd say that's a pretty average drawing. However some people can't even draw a stick figure, so I'm sure with a bit more practice she could get really good. Drawing is one of those things you get better at the more you do it, so just keep encouraging her to do her art even if she doesn't think it's that great.

She’s alright. Anyone can outline or draw. The actual skill comes from shading, adding highlights, adding figures, foreground/background, etc.

I think she's really good actually and as long as she keeps practicing she can get even better. I know it's common to think the skill in drawing is in shading and coloring and such but when you start it's more in the basic shape and I would say if she wants to improve she should try adding more detail. Using this picture as a reference I would say she could try adding some Fur especially to the ears. Personally when I wanted to get more detailed and impressive drawings I started by learning to draw animals because when drawing an animal you have so many different textures you can use. I'm not sure if you can message personally on here but if you want any examples or links that help with learning new techniques just let me know^^ but like I said I really do think she's good!! Just with room to improve XD

I actually have one of my really old drawings near me right now. This is basically an example of when I was first learning different techniques.
Also I meant to say, to decrease those erase marks tell her to try drawing super light till she knows what she wants and try to only make the final marks darker.
