Waxing caused severe ingown hairs? Help🙄

So I got my first wax 4 weeks ago and since my ingrown shave been TERRIBLE... like I had them on my bikini but like now OMFG they’re on my lips and everywhere else which had never happened, I’ve exfoliated lightly and to the point where I may have taken 7 layers off my vagina skin now I’m going to grow my hair out but should I just give up on waxing and stick to shaving?
I’m biracial with super curly hair if that helps, what do you ladies do?

Just exfoliate between waxes. My wax lady recommends a dry body brush.

I get really bad ingrown hairs on my pubic area more than anything. Every time I shave, I get them. I just trim them almost right down to the skin, since doing that, I havent got a single ingrown hair and it's actually a bit more comfortable having some hair there rather than shaving it all off as it doesn't get itchy when the hair grows back

Some people are more prone to ingrowns than others, my waxing specialist advised to exfoliate EVERY TIME I showered and it helped a lot, but I still got some here and there. I found that the days I skipped exfoliating I always had more ignorant pop up. Also when you get a wax, and the hair is removed, your pore is essentially an open wound and is prone to bacteria getting inside. So when you sweat and don’t clean yourself afterwards you get those little white bumps that look like zits... it’s hard to avoid. Good luck.
