Anyone else due date 8/25 today an don’t think baby is going to come out today?!?

Today is our due date to finally meet our daughter 8/25. Had an appointment on Thursday an the doctor said I was not dilated at all an cervix was still high. I was very disappointed 😔

My husband an I were really hoping to have her on our due date bring the uncanny circumstances that surround this date for both our families. August 25 is the day my grandfather was born as well as the day my husbands grandfather passed away. So it has a lot of meaning to both of us. We were hoping our princess would share that date!

Anyone else due today an feel like our baby is not gonna come any time soon? Doctor said I can’t schedule my induction until my next appointment on Thursday. I was really going to not have a September baby 🤷🏼‍♀️
