Implantation bleeding or strange period ?

Yesterday, in the afternoon, I started spotting (very light, dark brown.) I used toilet paper it was so light. A few hours later it got more red in color, but it was still rather light in flow. I still used a tampon.. just in case. It was pretty red, and my first period day is usually hefty in flow. It was time to go to bed, and I kinda thought to myself that I should change it out, but it didn’t really feel full, if that makes sense. (I can tell if I need a new one or not, and I didn’t.) it was barely half way full even... I barely bled on it. I put another in (bc I was tired) and went back to bed... I woke up a few mins ago to pee, and the same thing again, barely used tampon. But, there is slight blood flow in the toilet and on the toilet paper and it is pretty red now. Could this be implantation bleeding?? I know the only way to know is to take a test, but I always get so excited for a + just to always get a - 😭
