So ladies

me and this guy I’ve been talking to for a month was laying in bed 2 nights ago and we were having a conversation and I told him I used to be engaged a year ago. I feel like now he’s being a little distant. Am I wrong for telling him? Should I have kept it a secret? I told him because he asked where was I a year ago and I was in a dark place then because of my abusive engagement. Plus the engagement was private so I didnt get the will you marry me experience. It was basically like a oh we are going to get married
