problem is the food turns to crap just set in the fridge like this and he never even eats it, so i doubt he ever intended to 🤷🏾‍♀️
apparently he has a problem throwing food away or putting it away properly 😅

That’s so my mom! I cringe. I don’t like seafood, and even more so pregnant the smell hits me. She left lobster salad in a bowl and it smelled up the whole fridge

My husband is never in the kitchen, and on the rare chance he is, he uses the glass storage containers I bought 2 sets of. 
He’s a very clean and organized person. I am the same way. He likes to see what’s in the fridge to grab for work the next morning, if I forget to make his lunch. Everything is nice and neat in our fridge always has been always will be. Our fridge is so neat in fact, I always joke that our fridge is MTV Cribs worthy. Everything facing front and forward. No food container behind any other containers so food doesn’t get wasted. A spot for butter, a door shelf solely for salad dressings, a door shelf solely for pickles/jalapeños/ jars of miscellaneous things, a door shelf solely for condiments for sandwiches.
And no, we are not crazy. We just don’t waste food and like organized spaces.
