When you fight with your s/o and they apologize do you

Me and my boyfriend were bickering about something so little but he kinda took it too far and hurt my feelings, he has since apologized but he expects me to forgive him and drop it right away. It just hurt my feelings so I need a little space you know?

What if roles were reversed, would you want him to forgive you if you apologized and tried to make amends? Relationships are all about forgiveness, no one is perfect.

We usually talk about it when we’re  calm then move on. No point in dragging it out ya know. We do take some space before we talk.

If my feelings are hurt usually just a “sorry” wouldn’t do anything. I need cuddles and some playful sweetness. Luckily my husband knows exactly what works to make me feel better when I’m hurt. 
I think just staying mad at him isn’t a good idea. But if his apology isn’t doing it for you, then maybe you should tell him exactly what you do need, really specifically, and in a kind understanding way, not a blamey way. Hopefully he wants you to feel better and will try. It’ll probably feel forced and not very satisfying this time, but hopefully he’ll take the cue and next time instead of saying “sorry” he’ll know to say the words you need to hear (or cuddle the cuddle you need to feel, or whatever).

For the most part i forgive him but i do need a few minutes to myself to calm down & get over it. It just tell him to leave me alone for a few so i can get back to normal cuz im still upset, he leaves me alone.
