Pierced Nipples & Breastfeeding ?

So are there any moms out there with pierced nipples who breastfeed or pump? I have mine done and was hoping to breastfeed or at least pump but am concerned about any complications from having them done. Anyone still have there's when  they had their babies or did you remove them?

Let them close before baby is born & you'll be fine to breastfeed

I just took mine out. my nipples got so big and swollen that the bars were way too small but i also didnt want a metal foreign object in my newborns mouth. I was scared itd come lose and she'd swallow it

Take them out to pump or feed.  It’ll damage the fistula otherwise.

I've heard from a lactation consultant that you just taken the jewelry out and go.for.it. shouldn't be an issue

I had mine done previously. It’s damaged my nipple slightly and it doesn’t come out as much. But I use nipple shields and it really helps feed. Baby has no issue latching on. Can’t imagine having my nipple bar in and feeding though! 
Maybe try it with and see how you go?
