How long does it take to heal?

I got a 2nd degree tear and got stitched and it's only been 6 days but it hurts sometimes.... I'm scared to even look at the area so I don't even know what the status is. Also when does the bleeding stop?

I had 4th degree and by day 10 I feel fine. Pads are the most pain, just the chaffing feeling is the worst!!

I have a second degree and I'm so so sore... Still have to take stool softener. It's been 4 days since I gave birth I get super early but it hurts... You ladies give me hope that it will be better soon!

I'm so not looking! They told me bleeding could last up to 6 weeks. Yuck.

I had the same thing. 2nd degree tear and stitches. It's been 3 weeks 2 days for me and it's a lot better now. It doesn't hurt anymore just kinda feels uncomfortable sometimes after going to the bathroom. And I'm down to a pantiliner. Not sure when it completely goes away, but just wanted to let you know it does get much better!
