Does clomid cause false positive OPK?

This is my first round on Clomid, 50mg. I take opk early just because I want to play it safe, I'm on CD 6 with a bright positive. Does it cause false positive in the beginning of the cycle. Is it just the medication?

Yes, that’s why they advise not to start testing until 3 days after you finish your last pill
