Dream Feed?

Anyone do it? I tried about a month ago for a few nights but it didn’t help lengthen my daughters sleep. She was so sleepy she hardly nursed. I seriously couldn’t get her to wake up enough to feed. Thinking about trying again but I’m not sure how to get her to wake up enough.

Yeah, it seems hard. We’ve settled on a bedtime that works for both of us (9-10pm), so I can take advantage of that first longer sleep. Doesn’t always work, but I prefer it to staying up and missing his longest sleep period.

I agree changing their diaper helps to wake them, but the dream feed didn’t work at all for us.

We’ve done it. Change diaper to wake up and then eat.

My son will sleep at 9 pm & sometimes i'll end up going to be at 12 am , so i get him up, change his diaper & put him on my breast. He'll nurse for 15 Mins & let go. 😁 i do it a lot
