He thinks he's better than me

I get this feeling that my SO thinks he's better than me. He's 7 years older than me. The majority of the time we get on well and have lots of laughs. But he talks down to me like I'm an idiot when something isn't done how he wants it I don't agree with him, I'm starting to really not like him.
