The only thing a more than doubling result means is that the pregnancy is progressing. It could still be ectopic, an ultrasound is the only way to rule our ectopic.

I had more than doubling and had to have ectopic surgery. If you are worried the my warning sign was pain to the side of my uterus. Most people get bleeding but I didn't. And I only got shoulder pain after surgery
