My testosterone level came back at 49??

They said the normal rate was 2-45, if anyone had testosterone testing, what was your level at and how bad would you say your ability to conceive has been?

Answer

I don’t remember my exact number but it was way high like in the 60s. They put me on Metformin to drop my insulin levels and it came down. Basically if you’re insulin resistant your ovaries respond to the over abundance of insulin in your body by making testosterone. If you have too much testosterone you can’t ovulate regularly.
