FTM 37wks I don’t want to be induced. Tips?

Question

I am really hoping to not go over my due date / be medically induced if it is not necessary. 
 
I’ve spoken to my midwife and I have the all clear for nipple stimulation / collecting colostrum 3x a day. 
Has anyone else had other recommendations? 
In the end I know baby will come when she is ready, but the hospital I am going to pushes for induction between 39-41 weeks 😰

I think sex and staying on your feet are the most effective ways!

You're not even full term until 39 weeks so you've got plenty of time.  I wouldn't even be thinking about an induction at this point,  and you can certainly decline one before 41 weeks.

Sex sex sex. Walking. Start drinking red raspberry leaf tea too. 
My dr had me start drinking it at 35 weeks when I was pregnant with my son. By 36 + 6 i was 3 cm dilated. He came on his own at 37 + 4. I was scheduled to get induced at 38 weeks due to medical history so he wanted my body as prepared as possible

I feel like spicy food really helped me... course I was addicted to it during my pregnancy and not pregnant me hates spicy. Well I ate a huge bowl of a homemade spicy ramen (I live in Japan) and I had baby 39 weeks maybe it helped maybe it didn't. I do have family history of birth before 40 weeks so probably had that going for me. Anyhow best of luck! My adoptive mother went till 42 weeks wouldn't let the doctors push her to do induction and my brother came with no issues or problems. Of course a deteriorated placenta is of concern but follow your instinct.
