Please talk to your doctor about this. I've had issues with depression for a long time, and I'm currently taking zoloft during my pregnancy for it. It might be an option for you along with some therapy. I know we all want to take care of the baby, but we have to make sure mommy is taken care of too.

See your Dr about it, and I would also look into how much magnesium is in your prenatal. Megnesium is an extremely important mineral that are bodies need for many basic functions, and it can profoundly affect your moods if you aren't getting enough. Studies have shown severely depressed people bouncing back almost immediately when put on high doses of magnesium pills. Women who suffer from horrible pms and painful periods also get improvement from increasing magnesium. My prenatal has 500 mg of magnesium daily. I think it's definitely worth looking into and may be a big help

Yes and my biggest problem with all my pregnancies is that I have panic attacks multiple times a day. So I've been on medication for that because it's really unhealthy during pregnancy to be so emotionally distraught.

prenatal depression is actually quite common, but it's discussed far less than post partum depression. I was depressed almost my entire first trimester. The hormones and changes to your body and life probably cause this. Please talk to your doctor about it--she might request a therapist. I hope you are able to figure it out...I know it's so rough.

I was like this with my first child. I couldnt help it no matter how i tried. It will get better but definitely talk to someone. Did u want to be pregnant?

I'm not depressed but very aggressive and angry.  My husband and I had a fight the other day and I pushed him 3 times!  I have never in 10 years laid my hands on him angrily.  I'm also noticing I yell at my 2.5 ye old more and things he does are making me mad when normally they wouldn't gave
