Oversupply confusion
So I have been exclusively pumping for two and a half months. I just went back to work as a teacher, and I have a freezer full of frozen milk. That was a great feeling, however I haven’t needed any of it and I am running out of freezer space fast.
I only pump four times a day if I am lucky. Being a teacher I am reluctant to take time during class, so I sometimes miss a session if I don’t have a prep that day. But each time I am pumping double digits, between 10-14oz. My munchkin eats 24oz most days, sometimes up to 28oz but that’s a recent increase.
I’m so thankful to have enough, but I’m struggling with how full I get and how uncomfortable I get in between pumping. I know I could pump more, but I don’t want more milk, and I can’t pump more every day only sometimes.
