Post partum needs

I’m a FTM due Sept 29. Wanting to make the rest of my hospital and post-partum needs purchases soon so my bag can be ready to go and I’ll have what I need at home already for the first week or so. I know I can get a lot at the hospital but I do want to have some stuff just in case I need it.

What are some things you are getting ahead in anticipation? What’s necessary, what’s not in your previous birthing experiences? Planning on vaginal birth if all goes well.

ie. do you prefer heavy pads vs depends. What brands worked well and were the least uncomfortable? Etc etc.
