Break up and travel!? NEED ADVISE!😩

So lately I’ve been having thought about going travelling again, there’s been lots of talk between me and my bf of 3 years to settle and buy a house next year(he has a daughter who’s 5) I went travelling nearly 3 years ago now it was at the start of our relationship(about a month in as it was already organised before hand) and I can’t get this feeling to go. I want to go travelling for a year and my bf everytime I mention it he says straight away well are you even ready for a house and to settle down? Or even to save for a house(we both have house savings accounts atm) but deep down I don’t think i am ready! I want to travel and see places I’ve never seen I want to experience this all before I have a house as it will be really hard to find once we are committed to a house! He can’t seem to understand why I want to go travelling as we have future plans to buy a house. I feel as if he is looking at this from his point of view only and should be supportive of me if I want to travel!? Is this selfish? Help????😩
