Should I Worry About Miscarriage with BV?

I am 11 weeks pregnant with my first baby. No previous pregnancies or miscarriages. At my 10 week scan, everything looked okay and the heartbeat was seen and heard. 159 bpm. However, yesterday i got a call saying that i tested positive for BV. I’m taking flagyl for 7 days. Should i be worried about miscarriage? I’m scared and i don’t want anything to happen to my baby 🥺

Bv only has the potential to cause problems if left untreated.   I had it and treated it at 25 weeks and all fine!!!  You’re good ☺️

I have BV at 28 weeks but they don’t treat it until after I have the baby with medication through my IV. I also had it with my first and I went full term, had him on his due date and they treated it through my IV.
