Possibly pregnant?

So I have recently moved about 3 weeks ago and in the process I lost my pills for 3 days. I didnt have sex during those days. I found them and took them. Then the next day I had sex. Since I've started taking the pill I've started my period Wednesday around 8am. This week I started Thursday afternoon and my period is lighter than normal and I bright red color. I may just be paranoid but is there a chance that I'm pregnant? Should I wait until this period is over and then take a test?
