Hubbys early birthday surprise

So my husband is always telling me about his child hood and how he grew up listening to music the way music is supposed to sound. How he would lay in his room in a bean bag chair and listen to his dads old records for hours. His dads record player broke after a while and the records have sat and collected dust for like 20 years. So when his parents decided to love last month I was out in the giraffe with my father in law and he said he was going to toss them unless I wanted them. I of course grabbed them and hid them In the car. When my husband asked I said I had a art project I was planning with them to display them in the house. Which is true but not with those vinyls. So I went online and found a record player placed the order and it’s set to arrive the day after his birthday. On a weekend. Surprise to me it arrives 3 days early while I’m at work and my husband is home. The panic sets while I’m driving home. Side note I’m horrible at surprises I get to excited and give it away before it even arrives. I can’t tell you how many Christmas’ my husband and I have had early because I talked him Into it or because I’ve already told him what’s under the tree when I ordered it months before. Ahah but I did so good this time. I’m on my way home thinking it’s fine it will just be a big brown box on the porch... I’m no the picture was on the box all four sides.. 🤦🏻‍♀️ thank the lord my husband didn’t see. So I use this as my excuse to give it to him early.. yeah I couldn’t help myself. Small steps at least I waited till it arrived for once! So here are some pictures of him getting his birthday gift!

* ignore the messy house we are remodeling and decorating annndddd... my husbands hand in his pants.. I didn’t even notice till I went back and watched the video. I will never under stand men and having to touch/ scratch/ adjust/play/ hold or whatever all the time. 🤣😂
