Am I overthinking?

I live 12 minutes away from my boyfriends house. The last time I saw him was this past Saturday. This week he was sick. I'm going to PA this weekend from Saturday to Sunday. We wont be seeing each other until next week until Wednesday. Do you think he should have put in more effort to see me? (I kept asking if he wanted to bring him food or anything &etc but he kept telling me no.) I feel like not seeing each other for over a week when we are in a "serious" relationship is ridiculous. Thoughts?

I‘d go to PA and let him ask to see me. Wait and see how long it takes. Also, if someone doesn’t want you around, why try to force it? If the relationship is really serious, than it has to be from both sides and he will take the next step. If he doesn’t, then you don’t need to waste your time any further with someone who doesn’t feel like you do. Enjoy your weekend !

This isn’t my quote but I heard somewhere that you should not contact him for 3 days. If he messages you first in that time span, then you’re good. But if he doesn’t contact you for 3 days, why would you want to be with someone who is comfortable going 3 days without even talking to you?

If he’s sick maybe he just wants to be left alone, I wouldn’t jump to conclusion. See what he’s like when he’s feeling better

🧐 Yup, every single stage in life that I have ever been in shows that when a man wants to see you, he will (or at least let you come over and bring soup lol)... 
When you’re teens, you can be irrational and want to see each other all the time. Only when one is bringing in dramas will they want to stop contact.
When you’re older, you kind of understand “space,” especially for living 12 minutes apart. But not seeing each other for an entire week is a little ridiculous. I couldn’t imagine... Space is important, but not distancing yourself. 
I would talk to him. Sounds like he’s being uncaring and distant :/

Personally I don’t see a big deal with it but I also don’t like having anyone around when I’m sick, including my husband. Maybe just communicate with him that you miss him and it’s bothering you how long it’s been since you’ve seen him.
