Heartburn meds?

Question

Does anyone take anything like nexium or Prilosec once a day?? I’m Zantac twice a day, with mid day Pepcid and tums like candy! It’s relentless. I’m contemplating giving in with the Prilosec. My throat is constantly sore, and the burping fire is beyond manageable. Believe it or not, water makes it worse. Any thoughts?

I had taken Prilosec occasionally before pregnancy for GERD and my doctor okayed me to get back on it. It has definitely helped a lot but I don’t think there’s anything that makes it go away completely! Still taking the Pepcid too and tums and just really have to watch what I eat cutting out a lot of acidic and greasy foods because those made it so much worse even though they taste sooo good at the time.
