Nipples are a toy?

Recently my daughter (4months) seems to think it’s a game when she’s nursing. She pops off and smirks at me and then puts my nipple back in her mouth, sucks once or twice and does it again. I assume she’s done so I put her down and she screams until I give her the boob back. Anyone else experiences this?

I shouldn’t laugh but that is hilarious! What a spunky girl! My niece (around that age) did that to my sister. But she would snap her head away, smile and then literally dive back in and chomp back down on my sisters nipples, look up and smile 😂 She was a sass. I think around that age, babies realize that they’re your nipples and they think it’s funny to do that to you. Who knows. But my niece did stop after a while.

Mine does this all of the time! I think they are just having fun and it’s a new fun thing they’re able to do. I just wait a little while then Put him back on

My girl did that around the same time. We both thought it was hilarious. She gave it up a couple weeks later (5 months now).

My 4 month old does this and it's so confusing. Then when we leave she cries to eat and I have to give a bottle because now I'm not able to nurse her
