I understand that Ovarian HyperStimulation Syndrome can become serious, though it’s not very common... but at the same time isn’t that what you’re trying to do when you take fertility meds such as Clomid or injectables, to hyper-stimulate the ovaries? I read about many people going to scans and being monitored wanting to avoid it but I thought that was the point.

If someone could clear this up for me I’d appreciate it. I’m not on any medication but would just like to understand it.
