Usually it comes before an outbreak and in about 1-3 days you’ll get blisters that break open and drain liquid. Those are the first signs (tingling/itchness/burning sensation) on the spot that will follow by blister or blisters. Did you have unprotected sex with someone you know has it? If so you should get tested even so some doctors only test when you are showing visable signs of herpes, they most likely need to swab a lesion to confirm it’s herpes.

does the tingly and itching before a outbreak come and go or is it constant because idk if i have hsv and im scared i do but i can't go to my parents about it. im praying to God i don't but idk if i have the symptoms or if im over reacting. please someone help
